Matt came to visit us for a few days. He thought it was pretty funny that the San Francisco airport has a yoga room.

Toward the end of our summer trip to Victoria, we drove up the island, and then across to the west coast, to Tofino. We had a lovely view from our deck.
Our rental was a two-story condo.
It was an easy walk to the beach...
...where we spent a lot of time.
There were lots of mussels...
...and sea stars...
...and barnacles...
...it was a good beach.
Tofino is home to a great taco truck, called Tacofino.
We also went to visit Sigrid and her parents' house when they lived in Tofino.
It had a pretty good beach, too.

Before we left for the long drive back to Victoria, we drove into town. There are fewer than 2000 residents in Tofino, so downtown is still pretty small. But it does include Sigrid's old elementary school.
