Tummy Tour 2007

Tummy Tour 2007 came to a head with a baby shower. No silly games, just good friends and good cheer.

Noah offered us, perhaps, a glimpse into our future.

Where the Wild Things Are, as read by Tara...

...and Noah.

(I really do love how much of the room I can capture with this wide-angle lens!)

Sigrid likes the bi-level nature of this picture - adults up above, and Noah down below.

Boxing Day pub crawl

Sigrid's dad likes to do a pub crawl over the holidays. This year, due to an abundance of pregnant tummies, he declared it "boys only."

We started off at Spinnakers, where I had a Nut Brown Ale.

After Spinnakers came the longest walk of the pub crawl.

And then the Canoe Club, where I had a Winter Gale Strong Ale.

(Chris's bike)

Between stops we saw this boarded up building.

And the next stop was Swans, where I had the seasonal porter.

It hailed while we were at Swans! By the time we left, it had gotten dark.

Our fourth and final stop was Hugos, where I had the seasonal lager... twice.

And, finally, the crawl home.

Christmas 2007!

We had Christmas dinner with the Wests, but I went sans camera, so that is not documented here.

Christmas morning, we opened some loot...

...had some treats...

...and luxuriated in well-appointed Christmas decor.

In the afternoon, we took a walk. The weather was rather dramatic, and my wide-angle lens drank it all in.

Christmas Eve 2007

We stayed with Sigrid's parents in Victoria for Christmas this year.

On Christmas Eve, Kieran and Bar dropped by to visit in the afternoon. Elizabeth joined a bit later.

The Christmas tree really looked magical.

Booties for the baby.

Tracy joined us for dinner.
