At Alice's Restaurant

Ok, we're not at Alice's Restaurant, but we did get take-out from Alice's at 29th & Church.  I forgot to take the camera out, so I only managed a few pictures at the end....

Whatever pictures I may have missed, I'm glad I got these next two.

Christmas at the beach

On Christmas afternoon, we walked to the beach.

Anders thought the endless supply of rocks was a fantastic treat.

Christmas, take 2

Christmas presents, Victoria edition.

(That's a head massager - a stocking stuffer for Gary, Sigrid and me.  Anders thought they made lovely hats.)

Christmas Eve

Tracy, Michael and Kiran joined us for Christmas Eve Dinner.

Tracy thought an ergo ride might be a good idea.  Kiran disagreed.

Pre-dinner megablocks.

Dinner is served!

Kiran thought dinner was just lovely.

Baby Addae

We finally met Baby Addae!

We trooped over to see Tara, Noah and Callum for a playdate.

Callum was rubbing up against Mom for safety.

I asked Noah whether he was being a T-Rex, and he calmly explained to me that a T-Rex would have fewer fingers.

Here's Noah's face, by the way.

The was a certain dinosaur theme to Noah's art.

Even his Christmas tree featured a dino-ornament

Kiran, Anders, Thomas and Callum all love cars and trucks.

Anders is trying to feed Kiran.

Callum has a new take on how to use the potty.

Noah is a fine fort builder.

Pose, please!

Christmas, take 1

Anders understands that wrapping paper can be grabbed and ripped, for great fun. But he's not very clear on why gifts sometimes appear, and what it's all about.

So it's not crucial that our Christmas gifts get opened on Christmas. With holidays being spent in Victoria, we figured it would be easier to open gifts before we left.

Hence, Christmas, take 1 (to be followed by take 2 in Victoria, and then take 3 at my parents' house on New Year's Day).

Tissue paper!

Dad, let me help!

Ooh, Tintin!

Not for babies.

Extra present hidden in tagine!

OMG dinosaurs and trucks, all together!

Gigantic dog!
