Scandy at Convict Lake

I took a "photosphere" at Convict Lake, which is a 360° panorama that you can view online like this:

But what if you want to view it without a computer? I suppose one could fabricate a gigantic sphere with a door one could walk in through, with the image printed on the inside. If the sphere were translucent enough to let light in through the walls of sphere, I think that would work. But it wouldn't be very cost-effective and it would take up a ton of space.

You also could print the sphere on the outside of a small sphere, but then the depth cues would be all off. But you know what? Your brain so wants to make sense of the image that it ignores the backward depth cues. And thus was born a company called Scandy.
