Mozzarella
Sigrid got me a cheese making kit for Christmas. Here's my first try at mozzarella. Anders helped pour and stir things.
This was once a gallon of whole milk. Now it's cheese. Things did not go precisely as planned, but with a bit of improvising, I got things to work out.
It tastes pretty good, but I didn't quite nail the texture. (I don't think I "stretched" the cheese enough this time.)
