bowling and the museum

We arrived in Columbia late in the afternoon on Friday, which was right when the historic town was shutting down. At the cottage we rented, we found some suggestions of things to do in and around Columbia. One of the things mentioned was bowling, which I thought was odd.

But it wasn't a reference to a modern bowling alley. Instead, it was a self-service, single-alley "bowling saloon."

The museum is down the street from the bowling saloon. Sigrid, Mitch and Anders learn about the Gold Rush.

Dorian and Anders learn how to lay bricks.
