Happy Birthday, Sigrid!

Birthday dinner at Frances.

  • A foggy fizz (fruits, berries, and Vergano Chinato) for Sigrid, and an elderflower meadow (elderflower syrup, Carpano Antica, sparkling wine) for me.
  • Black olive arancini and roasted beets for starters.
  • A pear salad.
  • Bavette steak with Bordelaise sauce for Sigrid, and roasted sablefish with spicy fumet for me.
  • A side of roasted escarole, and some house rosé.
  • 'Sauternes' custard (pictured above) for dessert, with tea for Sigrid and a boozy afogato for me.
