At the end of our Tahoe getaway, we got to see the Wooleys. It had been far too long.
Double fisted.
Relax, it's water.
While we were there, the kids showed off their musical skills (they're taking guitar, piano, and violin lessons!), and also performed a play of their own making (based on a folk tale)!
And, yes, Sigrid finally got to hear me play a violin. Not my own violin, and not even a full-size violin, but a violin.
We snuck away for a few days to visit a friend in Tahoe. The sunset viewed from lakeside was very tranquil.
Anders enjoyed wading at the shore of the lake. The shore was heavy with pyrite, so the water really sparkled. Indeed, after getting out, your feet sparkled.
I wouldn't suggest chugging Harvest Moon's Gewürztraminer dessert wine, but Anders would.

Anders's bangs are much shorter than the rest of his hair, and they've grown in in a peaked fashion. Sort of like his mom, when she was a baby.
The rest of his hair is long with cute curls. Sort of like his mom, when she was little.
So in a few years, check back in, and maybe his hair will look like this.
He often hammers in the morning. And on occasion, he's hammered in the evening. He hasn't yet had a chance to hammer all over this land, but he'd really like to.
In preparation for a get-together, Sigrid bought some beer. She put them down while she was dealing with some other tasks.
Hm, what are those two bottles doing there?
Ah, that explains it.
Setting them down very carefully.
"Yay, beer!"
Moving them to the coffee table.
Joining them on the coffee table.
"Drink up, everyone!"
Isabel gave Anders some toy cars that she had played with when she was much younger. They were in pristine condition.
Anders took to them immediately. With predictable results.
"Um, I didn't do it."
"Ok, so maybe I did."
"Sure does taste good."
