Farmer Anders

Prada recently opened up its San Francisco store, and we rushed out and bought Anders this outfit.




Ok, maybe that's not quite true.

It's a very funny toy

Some babies laugh at funny sounds, and some babies laugh when they tear paper, and apparently some babies laugh at delightful new toys:

Hula

Clara had a hula recital in the Presidio today. It was a pretty amazing event. One hundred and twenty hula students performed. Clara looked great.

It was a beautiful, sunny day in the Presidio, and Anders, Haraboji and Halmoni all were members of the floppy hat club.





Anders was the only member of the floppy hat club that showed his tongue off.


Appropriately enough for a hula recital, there were palm trees all around us.




Clara had a lot of followers.



The first half of the program was traditional hula dances. I only had a 55mm lens with me, so I had to crop mightily to get the photos below, which means they're a bit low on resolution, unfortunately.




During intermission, Isabel, Caden and Cara spent some quality time with Anders.




...while the adults chatted.



The second half of the program was contemporary hula dances.

We bought Anders an Anders-sized chair. He seems to like it, though he has trouble staying upright in it for too long.

Meeting Agreen

Today, we went to meet Agreen. We wanted to bring some food, and Anders was going to help cook...

...except he couldn't remember which way the measuring spoon went...

...so he decided to let Sigrid and me do the cooking.


Agreen is quite the cutie.





(Shona figured she should find out what it's like to hold a three-month-old baby.)


Here's the whole family - Paloma needs some lap-time, too.


Agreen's got a good head of hair (which alas is a bit blurry - in the picture, that is).
